                                    Ada Lovelace was born December 10, 1815. She was usually ill, for example, when she was 14 she was paralyzed because of measles. She was resting in bed year-round. With help of her homeschooling mother and tutors, William Frend, William King, and Mary Somerville, she was still able to learn many facts about math and famous mathematicians. When she was an adult, Mary Somerville introduced Lovelace to Charles Babbage. Charles, at the time, was inventing the calculator. He asked Ada to translate his lecture in English. Ada combined his ideas with her own. Therefore, she invented the first computer program.  Eventually, she published the book to her friend and got married to William King. She had three children and continued working on her studies of mathematics. People didn't use computers back then as we all know, but without her ideas we wouldn't be using the computer right now! Computers all work with their software, or programs. They get all of information from there. All things electronics have computer programs: Cellphones, calculators, video games, robots, and anything else that is electronic and does something by it's self like a calculator.
